A History of the Property (click on images to enlarge)
The Bennett Farm, constructed in the mid 1880s, was inspired by grand estates of England and the Continent visited by Mr. & Mrs. Bennett. For many years it was a showplace working farm.
In the early 1900's the farm was purchased by the Probert family who built a home on the site and named the property Oakcroft.
In the mid 1940s the property was purchased by Jackson attorney Townsend Beaman, who named it Stone Village.
